Streaming first 6 live events beginning in 2024 with a 4 Team (3 fighters per team) tournament event followed on the last day by a live 8-man Battleground Baddest Man bracket competition.

Events will have both Gi and No-Gi competitions with double elimination. Each top finisher will advance to the Battleground Season 1 Championship.

Led byJoe Warren, 4-time World Champion in wrestling and Bellator MMA, we will engage the sports’ top Athletes, Elite MMA, Wrestling Clubs and Regional Training Centers to provide top-level competitors for our teams. Submission Grappling and Jiu-JitsuClubs/Organizations will form their own 3-fighter (2 men/1 woman) teams to participate. Our team has extensive experience in staging, broadcasting, producing, and competing in top-level events and is committed to bringing you a first-class event experience.

Joe Warren Fight Talent
Joe Warren is a record-breaking athlete who holds the National takedown record in addition to multiple titles, including four-time US Open National Champion and three-time Bellator World Champion across two weight classes. He also excels in coaching and fight commentary. Joe's invaluable expertise significantly contributes to Battleground's talent recruitment and fight organization efforts.
Daimon Logan Logistics
Damion Logan, founder of Apex Wrestling Schools, boasts 2x NCAA All-American status and has coached numerous NCAA Champions, All-Americans, and World Team Members. As a University of Michigan alum, he brings strong managerial and human service skills to the table. His expertise spans marketing, advertising, time management, proposal generation, and financial aspects like budgeting and accounting, all crucial to operating sports and athlete-oriented businesses.
Burt Watson Event Coordinator
With over 40 years of experience in Boxing and MMA, Burt Watson has held numerous roles with renowned organizations in both sports. As a consultant, advisor, promoter, and event coordinator, Burt brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. He has played a crucial role in coordinating and contributing to unforgettable events in Boxing, UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), and MMA.
Kody Mommaerts Show Host
Kody Mommaerts, also known as 'Big Mo,' has rapidly become one of the youngest and most prominent ring announcers globally, achieving recognition across various combat sports in just two years. Awarded '2019 Ring Announcer on the Rise' and repeating in 2020, he surpassed competitors from major promotions like Showtime. Big Mo made history by announcing the first Bare-Knuckle MMA fight and the inaugural Lethwei fight in North America.
